Going into the intern program, I didn’t know what to expect. But, that first day of tryouts made me realize just what I’ve been missing out on. It has made me learn more about myself and my understanding of the game. It’s taught me persistence, responsibility, and accountability. Being able to share not only the baseball knowledge I’ve gained, but the stuff I’m continuing to learn with the future of the Edwardsville Tigers makes the internship that much more great.

Coaching in the Lincoln Baseball intern program has given me the opportunity to learn how to be a leader. I was able to see different coaching styles and when and how to use them. I got to see a whole new side of the game being around the great coaches we have. The intern program set me up well for the future as I learned how to take responsibility for myself and do what I had to do to improve not only myself, but everyone around me. I miss doing it every day and I'm so happy I got the wonderful opportunity.
